It's Happening

It is happening.
Life is happening.
Things are changing.
We are changing.
I can't say it's not always for the best, but it's happening...sometimes without my consent.

This blog is changing.
I suck at blogging, honestly now
So...I'm gonna use it differently
Instead of using my journal for lyrics/songwriting, I'm gonna do it here as well
Maybe videos some day, but we're gonna take baby steps
I've learned those are the easiest ones to take anyway.
Expect to read "Can't Hear You" relatively soon, it's in revision

Possibly the Greatest Night of My Life

On the evening of August 31, my bestie (Emily) and I arrived at the Xcel Energy Center to witness the Lady Gaga concert. Little did we know that we were in for the greatest night of our lives.

From the crazy protesters, to the INTENSE little monsters (Gaga fans) we loved every minute of it. We were intimidated at first, but after we found our great seats and realized that the real creeps were on the main stage floor, we got crazy psyched!

Since I am completely convinced that explaining this concert would be pointless, (there is no way that I could do it justice) I'm just gonna put up some pictures I took and let you make your own conclusions. My only advice is for you Gaga lovers to really try and go to her next concert!

Wanna see more? Check my Facebook when I get the motivation to get the rest on there!
I also really wanna put on some videos of things Lady Gaga saying some incredible things that we could all learn a little something from...so stay tuned!

XOXO

Where is Waldo?

Where IS Waldo?
Where was I forever?
How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

The world may never, ever know.

Luckily, I can report I am back to attempt this again? We'll see!

School begins in, like, a week! I can't help but be fairly excited to see everybody again and have fun? I tend to do that at school (not totally normal, but hey don't judge)

HOWEVER.

I am stressing to the extreme over here. It feels like I totally and completed neglected all important things until THIS week.

Sweet.

Working on re-doing my bedroom, Honors Comm work, Pre-reading my Euro book, Working on pieces for auditions, THE FREAKIN' LIST GOES ON FOREVER.
I wish I wasn't such a procrastinator. But hey, we're only human.

While cleaning out my mess of a life (bedroom) I found lots of pieces of my childhood. From my Disney Princess rings to my letters to the Tooth Fairy, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic. I think I'm gonna try and put pictures on up here of my room as it begins its destruction and change.
Interesting, no?
Hahahah riiiight, Bridget you sound like a creep.

Goal is to post again sometime soon...maybe even some pictures of the LADY GAGA CONCERT!

WHAT?!

Yeah.
XOXO

The GREATEST picture ever taken of my parents.

When the cloud in the sky starts to pour
And your life is just a storm you're braving
Don't tell yourself you can't lean on someone else
Cause we all need saving sometimes

And she would change everything, everything just ask her.
Caught in the in-between, a beautiful disaster,
And she just needs someone to take her home.

Day 3 of my magnet following was fairly uneventful. It's surprisingly difficult to find someone to parachute you off of a plane thousands of feet off the ground when you live in Minnesota. SURPRISE! SO, I am going to say my scary adventure was eating food before my hour was up after the fluoride was painted on my teeth

Wow. I'm actually ashamed I just posted this?? Hahaha hopefully I will do something life-threatening tomorrow
XOXO

Belly Buttons, Sorbet, and George

Once upon a time,
there was a girl named Bridget who had a lot to say
So one day while frolicking through the internet, she discovered a BLOG site
On this blog, she began to record her summer adventures and her conquests overcoming a fear a day.

Bahahahaha lame. Can you tell I've been watching Sydney White this evening?

ANYWHOOOOO

My fear of the day...bellybuttons. Okay, I believe they are absolutely disgusting and pointless unless you are a baby thing. But ick on a stick!!!!
So to do one thing that I was afraid of, I decided to poke my bellybutton. I did it and I can guarantee it will never happen again (I'm an innie by the way!)

I hope you noticed my photo of George at the opening of this blog. I LOVE GEORGE. He says the greatest things and he's so cute when he tries to tie knots!
Plus I mean...who isn't attracted to tiger ties and knee-high socks??!!!!!!!
Answer: NO ONE.
Disagree??? You are lying! ;)

Gurkin: You can't even make it from Junior Tiger Guide to Tiger Guide
George: I'm only one badge away!
[looks at his velcro shoes]
George: Knots are hard!

What musical to quote todayyyy????
How bout Camelot?!
Might be one of my pieces this year!

If ever I would leave you
It wouldn't be in summer.
Seeing you in summer I never would go.
Your hair streaked with sun-light,
Your lips red as flame,
Your face witha lustre
that puts gold to shame!

Pretty sure this is how we ALL feel in summer!! At least...I do?
McNiff, Table of 1 please.

Hey, so feel free to pull up a chair and join me!
XOXO

Summer Lovin'

Chatroulette, Snickerdoodles, and Skype

What happens when you invite TWO blondes over for a sleepover???

A WHOLE HECK OF A FRICKIN' LOT

Jessica: "My parents taught me manners not morals."
Emily: "At dance I kept thinking about how excited I was to come and drink a coke, I didn't really care about seeing you guys...."
"It's all fun and games till I f**k Justin Beiber."

So as we basically became fat on Em's cookies and my mom's party in a bowl, we made lots of great friends on chatroulette and skype.
WOW.
LIES.
I can honestly say chatroulette is one of the scariest experiences ever. If I see one more man do dirty business on there I will seriously freak.
People are so weird!!!!!!!

Random fact of the day: Nub: one who sucks at a particular video game, they are not new to the game, but possess some determent that prevents them from playing well, no matter how long they practice playing the game.

Words of Wisdom
Don't sing to strangers on Skype.
Don't look at people on Chatroulette.

My new summer goal:
So while at my friend's house today I found this magnet with a super duper cool message.

DO ONE THING EVERYDAY THAT SCARES YOU

Being the intelligent female I am, I have decided to listen to an inanimate object.
Cool.
Day one....experienced chatroulette
Yeah...I'm gonna say that counts

Feel free to post your scary moments if you actually do this with me
XOXO

SO
Assuming you possess a computer and are a literate human being you can now read my thoughts!!
SCARY. But exciting!
Here on this blog thingamajig I hope to make you: Laugh, Cry, or do the rational thing...
Pee your pants (no promises on this one..my humor is an acquired taste?)
No the last one isn't rational...but who decides what is anyway??!
I just love changing the colors on this thing! Okay but issue A, the name of my blog blog bloggity blog
Honestly it sounds a smidge cheesy but I quite like it. Probably because it's what I do 90% of my time
Just ask all the people I've managed to annoy by becoming distracted in an in-depth conversation (shoutout to J. Bassett)
B) I love my mom. Those of you who know her know she is quite remarkable. She is the only mama I know who can still do a herkey at age 46 in a dark parking lot for the enjoyment of my friends. Willingly. Also, she attempts to sing songs from my shows...which she is currently doing now to distract me from writing this. (One Boy is currently echoing through my living room)
C) While watching one of my favorite movies ever today I found a fascinating question
"Did you ever stop to wonder how many bubbles there are in a bottle of soda?"
(can you guess where it's from?? THE one and only West Side Story)
We all know it's impossible to find the answer to said question...but what it implies means a lot to me today
Today, where I have been basically cyber-stalking the website of my theatre company
I think we all need to just take a deep breath and remember the important things in life
something I could definitely learn from
WELL
so I hope that was a deep and insightful thing you will remember even when you are elderly and as shriveled up as prune
Good luck with that ;)
XOXO
